Grade 3 Class

Class Description

The Grade three class continues the study of all phonemes and English short and long sounds. This class builds a strong base in grammar to advance the students in the structure of written English. They also learn to produce coherent paragraphs on a variety of different topics, adding strong adjectives, strong verbs and more traditional paragraph-building techniques. They will also learn to build and expand upon the simple paragraph as well as apply their knowledge to their school work. Spelling tests are weekly as well as the approximately two hours of homework required.
